NEW ALBUM

If the pandemic hadn’t come along and spoiled the party, 2020 would have been a particularly festive year for Kleztory, with the October launch of MOMENTUM on prestigious British label CHANDOS, plus the group’s 20th anniversary.

To celebrate their 20th birthday, the klezmer music quintet, Kleztory, released their sixth in October 2020, “Momentum”, on the prestigious British label CHANDOS Records (distributed in over 50 countries) and on Amérix, Canada.

Combining traditional tunes and new arrangements, they have chosen 10 pieces from their repertoire, audience favorites that they have enjoyed playing over the last 20 years. To give it a different touch and a jazz color, Kleztory is accompanied by a string quartet and two excellent guest musicians: improvisational pianist David Ryshpan, and percussionist Bertil Schulrabe.
